- Spiritual warfare is inevitable and ongoing

- Most of the greatest battles were not won by any weapon

- Outcome of every warfare depends on how powerful is the person involved is and with what weapons the person wages the war.

- When we speak the word of God, we invite God into the situation!

The word of God is the weapon of spiritual warfare. At many times there's warfare going on in the heavenlies. In any warfare there is always 2 parties - you and the enemy (devil). Spiritual warfare is inevitable and ongoing.  (Ephesians 6:12, 21). Outcome of every warfare depends on how powerful is the person involved is and with what weapons the person wages the war. (2nd Corinthians. 10:3-4).

The kind of warfare we should engage in as a child of God is such that we should attack first, with the weapons available to us, to exercise total dominion.

Most of the greatest battles were not won by any weapon - Matt. 4:4. "It is written" the word of God - our weapons! How many 'It is writtens' to you have in your arsenal?

You have to prepare and equip yourself before you can win this battle. Because the devil himself knows the word of God, how much more us, the children of God (Matt. 4:6).

There are weapons for attack and for defence - Ephesians 6:10-18. (The weapons there are for Defence - protection). To attack the devil - there is only one weapon, which is the word of God!

1st Samuel 17:26-31 - David's words, with Goliath. 

When you speak word the kingdom of God, the kingdom of darkness will hear it. When we speak the word of God, we invite God into the situation!

What the devil does is to put a fear into the heart of men - that is his weapon. You cannot defeat the devil in fear and in lying down but stand.

1st Samuel 17:37,39, 42 & 43 - David spoke the word of faith - that the Lord will be with him! Devil and his cohorts do know how to use words too, just to put you in fear. How much more those of us that have the word of life.

1st Samuel 17:50 - The sword was not David's hands, but it was in his mouth. He was battle-ready.

How can we be battle-ready? The words of the Lord are not canal, but mighty! (Hebrews 4:12). It is alive, active, and powerful!

Isaiah 55:11 - God said I have sent my word. Use the word of God. Send it. Enough of speaking empty words - void. God said His word to the emptiness in Genesis 1. What words are we using when the devil comes with his own words to attack?

How much of the word of God is in you? Take on the whole armour of God - Kit up! Warfare is inevitable, you will encounter it at any time. Put it (the armour of God) on by yourself.

Luke 10:19 - God is powerful enough to back up His word. Take charge over your life and don't allow the word of God to go back to Him void. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Open your mouth and speak the word of God. The word of God is near you, it is in your mouth (Romans 10:8). God is not interested in your defeat. He wants you to win. The earlier we know how to use the word of God, the better.

God Will Not Speak To You If You Did Not Sit Down To Seek The Lord - Pastor Jide Williams

- The power to change the impossible situations is in your mouth!

- Unless you sit with God your situation will inform your speech and what you say is what you get!

Nothing changes until you speak. But don’t be in a hurry to speak, don’t be in a hurry. First sit down. If you haven’t contemplated what to say, think and seek the power of God. God will not speak to you if you did not sit down to seek the Lord. Sit down! – Joshua 1:8 – For you to meditate, you have to carry your spirit and soul into the presence of God. Meditation only comes when you have quietness in your spirit.

Some people only rely on the G.O of their church before they speak. But only the Holy Spirit can help you speak right at any situation, not your pastor. How can you speak to men if it wasn’t first commanded? God moves without any means of transformation – He moves and speaks at all times. Sit and hear Him, so in turn you can speak.

Unless you sit with God your situation will inform your speech and what you say is what you get! John 5:7 – 8 words spoken in 2 minutes changed a man’s life – That’s Jesus our example.

Genesis 1:4-5 – Darkness was upon the face of the deep, and the spirit of God moved around – Then GOD SPOKE! But before God could speak He sat, and ruminated, and then spoke to the darkness. Sit. Look at the way man’s body is arranged, it only takes a master designer to make it all together – God sat, and thought it out, before He brought it to pass. Take time to be quiet, think, meditate, and speak.

Speak the good, and in your coming years, they will come to pass – Don’t begin to call your wife a witch even if she acts like one. Never call your son a fool even if he acts wayward. Call them what they should be, and in the fullness of time, they will come to be it!

Even Ezekiel never thought the dry bones could rise again, but he spoke – These bones represent situations that are very impossible. But God interrupted Ezekiel’s peace, and asked “Can these dry bones walk?” And he (Ezekiel) prophesied to the dry bones, and, they formed up and became a living soul. The power to change the impossible situations is in your mouth!

There is a script for your failing health and failing relationship – Act on the script given to you by the Lord, just as Ezekiel prophesied according to the command Of God. He spoke to the situation. There is a noise around you but don’t let the noise scare you. Don’t be afraid of the noise around you. Speak!

Somebody here, you are the next centre of attraction, you are the next BIG thing that will come out of Africa. Just speak the words and it shall be. The bones shall rise again. When you speak to a situation, you transfer power to that situation. Rise up now and begin to speak to every situation in your life. Don’t be at the mercy of situations.

Speak to life your family problem, your womb, your spouse, your finance, your Country, your future, and there will be a manifestation. Speak the word of life now!
